From Lenz's Law, the current will produce a magnetic field that opposes the change in flux. As the bar magnet enters loop the flux will increase in the direction opposite to the magnets motion. So, the current will flow from b to a. As the bar magnet exits the loop, the flux will increase in the direction of the magnets motion. So, the current will from a to b. Therefore, answer (E) is correct.
